The not-so-nice thing about the Mongoose is that is can't support J passthru reprogramming for Japanese cars because, as Colby pointed out, it can't supply the voltages specified by J If you want I can hook it up on the bench and you can TeamViewer in to check it out if you like.

I also plan to have ptdixg "enable" field for each map, this way you can see when it is activated if map tracing is enabled. So that leaves the Mongoose with only scanning abilities. Or is it reading the PPEI data for all the major modules? Probably plugs in the OBDII port and then as part of the install you have to put the special "adaptor" into the IAT sensor which contains the magic resistor that does the tuning.
